Project Overview

We are working with a leading retail organisation in Germany seeking an experienced SAP MM Consultant to support ongoing SAP initiatives, including enhancements and S/4HANA-related workstreams.

This is a hands-on, business-facing role within a fast-paced environment, requiring strong functional expertise in Materials Management and procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP MM solutions across procurement and inventory management
• Own and optimise Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and define requirements
• Deliver system enhancements and process improvements
• Support S/4HANA-related activities (implementation, rollout, or optimisation)
• Troubleshoot issues and provide functional support
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (SAP SD, FI, supply chain)

Key Requirements

• Extensive experience as an SAP MM Consultant in freelance/contract environments
• Strong hands-on configuration experience in SAP MM
• Deep understanding of:
• Procurement / purchasing
• Inventory management
• P2P processes
• Experience working on SAP S/4HANA programmes
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work independently in a client-facing role
