SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Consultant (In-House HR IT – End Client Environment)
About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Consultant to support a major ongoing transformation of their global HR systems landscape.
This is an in-house HR IT environment (end-client side), not a consultancy role. You will be embedded within a central HR technology function that is responsible for designing, delivering, and continuously evolving a modern, cloud-based HR platform with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central at its core.
The organisation is in the midst of a long-term digital HR transformation programme, replacing and integrating legacy on-premise systems into a unified global HR solution.
You will join a stable, structured corporate environment, working closely with internal HR and IT stakeholders across multiple regions to shape the future of HR systems.
Location & Working Model
- Multiple office locations across Germany (north, central, and southern regions)
- Hybrid working model (typically 1–2 days per week on-site, depending on project phase)
- Occasional travel within Germany for workshops and stakeholder alignment
- Full-time position (approx. 38–40 hours per week)
- English and German required for day-to-day collaboration with internal stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Support the design, configuration, and ongoing enhancement of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
- Contribute to the transformation of HR processes into a modern, cloud-based system landscape
- Translate HR business requirements into scalable, maintainable system solutions
- Work closely with internal HR and IT stakeholders to align on process design and system capabilities
- Participate in the full lifecycle of HR system changes, including:
- Requirements gathering and analysis
- Solution design and configuration
- System testing and validation
- Deployment and post-go-live support
- Facilitate workshops with HR stakeholders to capture requirements and validate solution designs
- Support testing activities, including test planning, execution, and coordination with business users
- Prepare and deliver system demonstrations and solution walkthroughs for internal stakeholders
- Maintain system and process documentation, including functional specifications and process flows
- Stay current with SAP SuccessFactors developments and HR technology trends to support continuous improvement
Candidate Profile
Required Experience
- Proven hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (implementation and/or support)
- Strong understanding of SAP SuccessFactors configuration and system setup
- Solid knowledge of HR processes and their translation into system solutions
- Experience working in structured project or system change environments
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical HR stakeholders
- Strong collaboration skills and experience working across HR and IT functions
Nice to Have
- Experience with SAP Time Management or workforce/time tracking solutions
- Exposure to SAP HCM (on-premise) or hybrid SAP landscapes
- Understanding of integrations between SAP SuccessFactors and wider enterprise systems
- SAP SuccessFactors certification(s)
