I am currently supporting an international manufacturing company that is looking to engage a senior SAP PP Consultant to support both day-to-day production operations and a major S/4HANA transformation programme.

This is a role for someone who enjoys being close to the business. You will work directly with production teams, planners, technicians, and operational stakeholders, helping to solve real manufacturing challenges while contributing to the design of future-state SAP processes.

Alongside supporting the current ECC landscape, you will play an important role in preparing and shaping a global greenfield S/4HANA rollout.

Responsibilities

• Support and optimise SAP PP processes across production planning, routings, BOMs, batch management and quality processes

• Work closely with production teams to understand operational challenges and translate them into SAP solutions

• Provide 2nd and 3rd line support and drive continuous improvements across the manufacturing landscape

• Participate in blueprinting, process design, testing and rollout activities for S/4HANA

• Maintain and improve master data and reporting processes

• Support improvement initiatives involving MES, Fiori, quality processes, routing optimisation, STO flows and related manufacturing solutions

• Act as a trusted advisor to both business and IT stakeholders

Requirements

• Strong SAP PP experience within ECC and/or S/4HANA environments

• Experience working within manufacturing or production environments

• Good understanding of production planning, routings, BOMs, batch management and quality processes

• Comfortable engaging directly with shop-floor and operational users

• Able to work independently and take ownership of solutions

• Fluent Danish language skills required

Contract Details

• Freelance contract, full time

• Hybrid working with onsite presence required in Southern Denmark 2-3 times per week

• Long-term programme, 12 months initial contract

• Greenfield S/4HANA transformation

• Immediate start preferred
