We are working with a leading global pharmaceutical organisation undergoing a major greenfield S/4HANA transformation programme. This is a rare opportunity to join a multi-year global initiative at an early stage, shaping the future of SAP across international operations.
This role requires relocation to Italy, with a comprehensive relocation package fully funded by the client.

The Role

As a Senior SAP SD Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering and optimising Sales & Distribution processes within a large-scale S/4HANA rollout. You will work at the intersection of business and technology, ensuring global standardisation while accommodating local market requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Act as a core member of the global SAP SD workstream within a greenfield S/4HANA transformation
Lead end-to-end SAP SD design, configuration, and implementation activities
Drive the development of a global template, ensuring alignment with regional and local business needs
Translate business requirements into scalable, compliant SAP SD solutions
Serve as the key interface between business stakeholders, IT teams, and system integrators
Oversee testing phases (unit, integration, UAT) and support successful deployments
Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement initiatives
Develop and maintain functional documentation and process designs

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in SAP SD configuration and full lifecycle implementations
Prior involvement in S/4HANA programmes (ideally greenfield or large transformations)
Strong understanding of order-to-cash and supply chain processes
Experience working in global, multi-country environments
Ability to engage and influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
