Role: SAP ABAP Consultant - L2 (S/4HANA)

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned SAP ABAP Consultant for an onsite, full-time role in Noida. In this position, you will work directly from the client location. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between complex technical development and business operations, specifically optimizing and customizing Trading Processes to support a massive global footprint of over 1,000 active sales users.

Key Responsibilities

• Customization & Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy robust ABAP solutions within an S/4HANA environment tailored to high-volume manufacturing and trading processes.
• Trading Process Optimization: Customize and enhance SAP modules dealing with global trading, sales order management, pricing architecture, logistics, and supply chain tracking.
• Performance Tuning: Optimize code and database queries to ensure the system seamlessly supports 1,000+ concurrent sales users without latency.
• Modern ABAP Architecture: Utilize modern S/4HANA core technologies including CDS (Core Data Services) Views, AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures), and the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) or Business Object Processing Framework (BOPF).
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with functional consultants and the client's internal business teams to translate complex trading requirements into scalable technical blueprints.
• Support & Maintenance: Provide high-tier troubleshooting and resolution for critical production issues within the sales and trading landscape.
• Enhancements – Perform 100 hrs of enhancement per month.

Required Technical Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 5 to 8 years of core SAP ABAP development experience, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in an S/4HANA environment.
• S/4HANA Core: Strong proficiency in CDS Views, AMDP, OData service creation, and code optimization for the HANA database.
• Functional Integration: Deep understanding of how ABAP integrates with SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) and MM (Materials Management) modules.
• Trading Domain Knowledge: Proven experience customizing SAP trading processes (e.g., intercompany sales, third-party order processing, global trade management, or complex pricing schemas).
• Classical ABAP: Mastery of traditional ABAP tools: BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits/Enhancements, ALV reports, and IDocs/Interfaces.

• Location: 100% Onsite at the client’s corporate facility in Noida.
• Scale Mindset: Experience working with large enterprise clients or heavy manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with client stakeholders and end-users.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to work under pressure in a high-user-count live production environment.
