Job Title: SAP FI/CO Functional Consultant

Location: Hybrid (Toronto or Montreal, Canada)

Duration: Contract until November 30, 2026

Rate: $78/hr. - $94/hr.

• Candidates must be based in Canada, preferably in Toronto or Montreal
• Hybrid model (remote flexibility available), but local presence is required
• Client will not consider profile outside of Toronto and Montreal QC

Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP FI/CO Functional Consultant to support a technical upgrade project from S/4HANA 2021 to S/4HANA 2025. This role is focused on functional remediation and regression validation, with no new functional scope.

The ideal candidate will work closely with the development and technical teams to ensure system stability and continuity throughout the upgraded lifecycle.

Mandatory Requirements

• Strong experience as an SAP FI/CO Functional Consultant
• Hands-on experience with S/4HANA upgrades (preferably from earlier versions to higher releases)
• Proven expertise in functional testing and regression validation
• VIM (Vendor Invoice Management) experience is mandatory, as it is also part of the upgrade
• Ability to work closely with technical/development teams during remediation
• Excellent understanding of SAP Finance processes (AP, AR, GL, CO)

Key Responsibilities

• Support SAP S/4HANA upgrade from v2021 to v2025, focusing on FI/CO modules
• Collaborate with development and technical teams during remediation activities
• Analyze and validate impacts of the upgrade on existing financial processes
• Execute functional unit testing and regression testing to ensure no disruption to business processes
• Document test results, defects, and remediation actions
• Provide functional guidance and troubleshooting support during upgrade cycles
• Ensure alignment with existing business processes (no new scope implementation)
