We are currently seeking an experienced SAP Security Functional Specialist for a multinational consulting client delivering projects across Europe.

Role: SAP Security Functional Specialist

Location: Hybrid in Madrid

Contract: Freelance / Autónomo

Duration: 7 months

Languages: Spanish and English

Knowledge required: 10+ years of experience

Project type: new implementation

Key skills: SAP S/4 HANA Security, SAP GRC Acces Control

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls in SAP S/4HANA and related systems.

• Manage roles, authorizations, and segregation of duties (SoD).

• Define and govern SAP security standards aligned with corporate policies.

• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure proper implementation of security measures.

• Participate in SAP migration, upgrade, or new implementation projects.

• Contribute to the creation or enhancement of the Security Operations Center (SOC) to detect and respond to threats.

Technical Requirements

• Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA Security.

• Deep knowledge of SAP roles and authorizations, Fiori, SUIM, SU24, PFCG.

• Experience with GRC Access Control (ARM, ARA, BRM, EAM).

• Knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM).

• Familiarity with cloud security (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
