Role: SAP BW or BW/4HANA Senior consultant

Location: Remote, ideally based in Chile or able to support Santiago de Chile; travel to Santiago as required

Start Date: ASAP / target start within the next few weeks

Duration: 6-month contract + likely extensions up to 12 months

Workload: Full-time

Travel: Remote-first; availability to travel to Santiago for onboarding, workshops or key meetings

Role Overview

This role will support a client programme in Chile focused on SAP reporting, analytics and data integration. The consultant will combine deep SAP BW expertise with SAP BTP knowledge and business-facing data analysis capability to help deliver reporting solutions, data models and stakeholder-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Phase 1 – Discovery & Planning: Gather business reporting requirements, run stakeholder discussions, document KPIs, map source systems and define reporting/data priorities.
• Phase 2 – Data Modelling & BW Delivery: Design and enhance SAP BW/4HANA models including ADSOs, CompositeProviders, transformations, queries and data flows from SAP and non-SAP sources.
• Phase 3 – BTP & Integration: Support data integration and orchestration using relevant SAP BTP services such as HANA Cloud, Integration Suite or Data Intelligence, depending on landscape.
• Phase 4 – Business Analysis & Reporting: Translate business needs into reporting solutions, validate data outputs, support testing and provide actionable analysis to business stakeholders.
• Phase 5 – Support & Optimisation: Troubleshoot reporting and data issues, improve performance, maintain documentation and support continuous enhancement of analytics capability.

Technical Requirements

• Strong hands-on SAP BW or BW/4HANA experience.
• Experience with data modelling, ADSOs, CompositeProviders, transformations and query design.
• Good SAP HANA / SQL knowledge.
• Practical exposure to SAP BTP services relevant to analytics or integration.
• Experience integrating SAP and non-SAP data sources.
• Strong business data analysis skills, including KPI definition, requirements gathering and stakeholder communication.
• Exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud, BusinessObjects or related reporting tools is beneficial.
• Ability to work in English and Spanish in an international project environment.
