SAP MM Consultant 

At Hays, we are partnering with a leading international company in the renewable energy sector to support the evolution of their SAP landscape.

The mission is to design, implement, and optimize SAP MM (Source-to-Pay) processes within S/4HANA, ensuring robust, scalable, and efficient procurement and materials management capabilities across global operations.

We are looking for an experienced SAP MM Consultant who can combine strong functional expertise with hands-on delivery capabilities in complex transformation projects.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and support SAP MM processes including procurement (direct and indirect), inventory management, material master data, physical inventory, spare parts management, and valuation
• Participate in S/4HANA rollout projects, covering solution design, customization, testing (FUT, SIT, UAT), cutover, go-live, and hypercare phases
• Develop and implement RICEFW objects within the SAP MM area
• Manage integrations with other SAP modules such as SD, FI, PP, and LE
• Handle interfaces with SAP and non-SAP systems, including Ariba, SNC, and EDI
• Provide functional and technical support to global business users in the MM domain
• Coordinate SAP MM activities across internal teams, external consultants, and AMS providers

What we are looking for

• 5+ years of experience as SAP MM / STP Consultant
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or similar
• Strong experience working in SAP S/4HANA environments
• Solid knowledge of Procure-to-Pay, Inventory Management, Invoicing, Material Master Data, and MRP processes
• Experience with Release Strategies and Flexible Workflow
• Understanding of pricing processes and valuation in SAP
• Hands-on experience with SAP Ariba and SAP Fiori
• Experience integrating SAP MM with other modules such as SD, FI, PP, and LE
• Knowledge of logistics execution integrations (EWM, TM)
• Ability to work in international environments and support global users
• Strong communication, ownership, and teamwork skills

Nice to have

• Experience working in international or global rollout projects
• Exposure to AMS environments or team coordination
• Knowledge of additional SAP modules (SD, FI, PP, LE)
