Our client, who is an international manufacturing organization, is currently undergoing a major SAP and IT transformation program and is looking for an experienced SAP Production Consultant to support a global S/4HANA journey.

This is a high-impact role with significant ownership and visibility across production operations, offering the opportunity to help shape future-state SAP processes and contribute to a large-scale greenfield S/4HANA rollout.

The consultant will work closely with production teams, operators, technicians, and business stakeholders to translate real shop-floor requirements into scalable SAP PP solutions. The environment is dynamic and evolving, making this a strong fit for someone who enjoys autonomy, hands-on collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive and support SAP PP solutions across production planning, BOMs, routings, batch management, and QM in ECC and/or S/4HANA environments.
• Collaborate directly with production teams and operational stakeholders to understand workflows and translate requirements into effective SAP solutions.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support, troubleshoot incidents, and manage follow-up activities within ServiceNow (SNOW).
• Support ongoing S/4HANA activities including blueprinting, documentation, testing, and global rollout initiatives within a greenfield setup.
• Maintain and optimize master data and reporting processes across production, logistics, and quality functions.
• Participate in strategic improvement initiatives including MES/Fiori enhancements, operator cockpit solutions, QM inspection forms, routing optimization, STO flows, ECM workflows, and batch management improvements.
• Ensure stable day-to-day operations while driving process optimization and long-term improvements.

Required Experience

• Strong hands-on SAP PP experience within ECC and/or S/4HANA environments.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing and production processes, including related logistics flows and SAP configuration.
• Experience working closely with operational users, including shop-floor and hourly production staff.
• Ability to work independently in an environment with evolving processes and limited SOP structures.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to balance operational support and strategic improvement work.
