Client & Project Overview

We are seeking an experienced MACO Expert (Functional & Technical) to join our Business & Technology Integration team. The role focuses on SAP Utilities and German energy market communication processes, supporting business‑critical regulatory and operational functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as subject matter expert for Energy Market Communications (MACO) in SAP Utilities
• Support and implement market communication processes in the German energy market
• Work across functional and technical areas, bridging business processes and system execution
• Support configuration, integration, and enhancements in SAP Utilities environments
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders in a hybrid (remote + onsite) setup

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with SAP for Utilities
• Proven expertise as an Energy Market Communications Expert (Functional & Technical)
• In‑depth knowledge of German energy market processes, including:
• Feed‑in processes (EEG)
• Grid operator switching for SUP communication (Netzbetreiberwechsel)
• Dormant MALO (Ruhende MALO)
• Strong understanding of market message data formats in the German energy market
• Solid SAP skills including:
• S/4HANA
• Fiori
• MACO Cloud

Nice to Have

• Strong ABAP skills
• Experience with SAP Master Data Reference Model (SDRM)
• Cut‑over and go‑live experience in SAP Utilities programs

Language Requirements

• German – Business / Fluent
• English – Business / Fluent
