Recruit 121 is currently looking for an experienced SAP HCM Payroll (PY) Consultant for a fully remote contract opportunity based in Portugal.

Role Overview

You’ll support ongoing SAP HCM Payroll activities with a focus on Portuguese payroll localization, working closely with cross-functional and international teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and provide functional support for SAP HCM Payroll, aligned with Portuguese legal requirements
• Support payroll testing, issue resolution, and system enhancements
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT to ensure data accuracy and smooth processes
• Assist with process improvements and documentation
• Provide support during monthly payroll and post-payroll activities
• Advise on best practices and compliance with local legislation

Required Experience & Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP HCM Payroll (PY)
• Proven knowledge of Portugal-specific payroll schemas, rules, and configuration
• Good understanding of HR master data, time management, and integration with FI/CO
• Fluent in Portuguese and English (spoken and written)
