Position: SAP FICO Consultant
Location: 100% Onsite in Chennai (5 days a week)
Job Type: Open for Contract – 24 Months or Permanent/Full-time
Job Description:
SAP FICO Financial management process
At the financial level, this project will focus on the implementation of the following sub modules: general ledger accounting (GL), accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), fixed assets (AM), special general ledger management (SL) and localization functions in India.
The scope of localization functions in India mainly refers to the legal requirements and business key requirements of India companies, which can be further defined in the blueprint design stage.
Financial overview includes:
(according to SAP system standard configuration and standard function realization)
- On the premise that the master data and other reports involved in this period can support multiple languages, it is necessary to maintain India and English versions to meet the localization requirements of India
- Fiscal year / period (India companies only)
- Bookkeeping period is set according to calendar year and month
- The headquarters chart of accounts is used as the daily bookkeeping chart of accounts. The accounting subjects are set to be displayed in English and India.
Financial general ledger process
- Meet local fiscal and tax requirements in India
- Chart of accounts (India financial accounting standards, mapping and interpretation of chart of accounts are in the charge of customer internal personnel and supported by project members)
Fixed assets management process
- Depreciation of assets (depreciation is calculated according to the local depreciation method in India and the depreciation method in China)
