SAP WM Consultant / SAP WM Key User (Contract)

Project Overview

For one of our Global Clients we are looking for an experienced SAP WM Consultant to support warehouse and logistics operations in a rapidly growing manufacturing plant in Poland.

The role is based in a greenfield production facility that has been operating for approximately three years and is currently expanding its operations in the automotive industry.

The company operates SAP WM in an on-premise environment and the system is currently not fully aligned with production and warehouse processes that are required therefore, we are seeking a consultant who can act as a local SAP WM expert and liaison between operations and the global IT organization.

The main goal of this role is to stabilize warehouse processes, resolve existing system issues, and improve SAP WM operations over the course of the project.

Responsibilities

The consultant will provide operational support and process improvements in SAP WM, including:

• configuration and optimization of KANBAN processes and component supply to production
• configuration and maintenance of external warehouses
• support and development of returnable packaging management (customer and internal packaging flows)
• configuration of automatic Delivery Note (DN) creation and support for shipping processes
• daily support for warehouse and logistics users
• analysis and resolution of SAP WM system issues
• cooperation with the global SAP / IT team
• participation in testing, change implementation and improvement projects
• preparation of process documentation and user manuals
• delivering user training and operational support

Requirements

• minimum 5 years of experience with SAP WM
• strong knowledge of: KANBAN processes, external warehouse management, returnable packaging flows, Delivery Note (DN) processes
• experience supporting operational warehouse users
• ability to analyze system issues and coordinate solutions
• experience working in international environments
• fluent English (communication with global SAP teams)

Nice to Have

• knowledge of SAP MM or SAP PP modules
• experience in SAP implementation or rollout projects
• experience with logistics reporting
• experience in user training and documentation preparation
