About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior SAP Cloud Architect to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the design and implementation of a target architecture for SAP applications and infrastructure within a cutting-edge cloud environment (SAP BTP). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess existing infrastructure, define future-state architectures, and ensure seamless cloud migration and operation. Your expertise will drive the successful adoption of SAP BTP services across multiple projects, positioning our organization for long-term success in the cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architectural Design: Lead the creation of a target architecture for SAP components within a cloud model (SAP BTP), focusing on scalability, efficiency, and innovation.
• Infrastructure Assessment: Collect and analyze existing infrastructure and applications (AS-IS) to inform the design of a robust and future-ready TO-BE infrastructure based on non-functional requirements.
• Cloud Sizing & Modeling: Calculate target sizing for cloud infrastructure and define a cloud execution model that aligns with business goals and operational requirements.
• SAP BTP Implementation: Oversee the installation and configuration of SAP BTP services across various projects, ensuring optimal performance and integration.
• Strategic Advising: Provide expert guidance on cloud strategies, approaches, and FinOps best practices to optimize cloud usage and cost-efficiency.
• Workshop Facilitation: Organize and lead workshops to gather information, align stakeholders, and drive consensus on key architectural and operational decisions.
• Roadmap Development: Develop comprehensive roadmaps and strategies for cloud migrations, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to business operations.

Required Skills & Experience:

• (M) SAP Architecture Expertise: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP architecture, with a deep understanding of designing and implementing SAP solutions.
• (M) SAP RISE & SAP BTP Knowledge: Proven expertise in SAP RISE and SAP BTP, with a track record of successful deployments.
• (M) Cloud Operation Models: Strong knowledge of cloud run/operation models, including best practices for cloud management and optimization.
• (M) Cloud Migrations: Extensive experience in planning and executing cloud migrations, with a focus on minimizing risk and ensuring continuity.
• (M) Workshop Leadership: Demonstrated ability to gather information, facilitate workshops, and build consensus among diverse teams.
• (M) Strategic Roadmap Development: Exceptional skills in preparing detailed roadmaps and strategies for cloud migrations, with a focus on long-term success.
