Position description
SAP MM Consultant
Role Overview
Join a collaborative in-house IT services team focused on delivering innovative SAP solutions and driving digital transformation across a diverse business environment. Working closely with internal stakeholders, this role is responsible for optimising procurement, logistics, and materials management processes while supporting the successful delivery of SAP projects and system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse, optimise, and implement procurement, logistics, and materials management processes using SAP MM.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective SAP MM solutions.
- Facilitate workshops, gather business requirements, and design tailored system enhancements.
- Configure and customise SAP MM to support evolving business processes and operational improvements.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute system and user acceptance testing to ensure solution quality.
- Support SAP implementation projects, rollouts, upgrades, and migration activities across multiple business units.
- Manage integration points between SAP MM and related SAP modules to ensure seamless end-to-end processes.
- Provide ongoing functional support, troubleshooting, and continuous process improvement.
Skills & Experience
- Degree in Business Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience as an SAP MM Consultant with strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, and logistics processes.
- Experience delivering SAP implementation, enhancement, or migration projects, ideally including SAP S/4HANA.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and engaging with business stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Professional proficiency in German and good working knowledge of English.
