SAP Production Planning Engineer

Remote (East Cost Preferred) - some travel

$140-155k base salary + 15% bonus

I am working with a US-based CPG firm who are looking for an experienced SAP Production Planning Engineer to join their growing team.

The SAP Production Planning Engineer will support the design, configuration, implementation and continuous improvement of SAP Production Planning (PP) solutions within a manufacturing environment. This role will be working closely with business stakeholders, Solution Architects and technical teams to deliver SAP ECC PP enhancements, support system integrations, optimize production planning processes and contribute to the company's SAP S/4HANA migration roadmap. This role also includes testing, documentation, user training and ensuring scalable, compliant solutions that support business growth and acquisitions.

Key Requirements

• 10+ years of IT experience supporting SAP Production Planning, with demonstrable experience with hands-on SAP solution engineering
• Strong SAP ECC PP configuration expertise, including MRP, Production Orders, BOMs, Routings, Work Centers and master data
• Experience integrating SAP PP with MM, SD, QM, PM, FICO, APO/IBP, MES and other enterprise applications
• Knowledge of SAP technical components including IDOCs, BAPIs, User Exits, Function Modules and SAP data structures (ABAP debugging beneficial)
• Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA migration initiatives, production planning roadmaps and enterprise system integrations
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, preferably within Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), with experience managing projects, gathering business requirements, testing and driving process improvements
