SAP MM Consultant Proficient

Requirements

Must to have:

• Seasoned SAP MM Consultant with over 5 years of hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, and optimizing SAP Materials Management solutions across diverse industries.
• Expert in end-to-end procurement processes, inventory management, vendor evaluation, and integration with other SAP modules such as SD, PP, and FI.
• Proven track record of leading full-cycle SAP implementations, upgrades, and support projects, delivering scalable and efficient supply chain solutions aligned with business goals.
• Skilled in requirement gathering, blueprinting, customizing MM components, and providing user training and post-go-live support.
• Adept at working with cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders, and translating complex business needs into effective SAP solutions.
• Committed to continuous improvement, process automation, and leveraging SAP best practices to enhance operational efficiency and cost savings.
• Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand procurement and inventory needs.
• System Configuration: Configure SAP MM modules including Purchasing, Inventory Management, Valuation, and Invoice Verification.
• Integration Management: Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules like SD, PP, WM, and FI.
• Master Data Management: Create and maintain material master, vendor master, purchasing info records, and source lists.
• Process Design & Optimization: Design efficient procurement and inventory processes aligned with industry best practices.
• Project Execution & Support: End-to-End Implementation Lead or support full-cycle SAP MM implementations including blueprinting, realization, testing, and go-live.
• Testing & Validation: Develop test scripts, conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT.
• User Training & Documentation: Prepare training materials and conduct workshops for key users and end-users.
• Post-Go-Live Support: Provide hypercare support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system stability.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Custom Reports & Analytics Develop and maintain reports for procurement performance, inventory levels, and vendor compliance.
• Usage Monitoring: Track usage of custom programs and transactions to ensure compliance and performance.
• Strategic & Advisory Role: Process Improvement Initiatives Identify gaps and recommend enhancements to streamline operations.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between IT and business teams to align SAP capabilities with business goals.
• Compliance & Audit Support: Ensure procurement processes meet internal and external audit requirements.

Responsibilities
