Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a SAP GTS Migration Consultant - German Speaking on a remote basis working 2 days per week.

Project Description:

We are looking for an experienced and senior consultant with in-depth knowledge of SAP GTS Migration.

The consultant should be able to support the setup of a sandbox system, pre- and post-implementation steps, as well as custom coding and process simplifications. The deployment should start as soon as possible and provide intensive support until the go-live.

The project refers to consulting and support in the implementation and optimization of the customer GTS (Global Trade Services) system. We are looking for additional advice on the purely technical migration.

Key Skills:

• Experience in Conversion to SAP GTS, edition for HANA 2023
• Experience in Preference Management in SAP GTS, edition for SAP HANA 2023
• Experience in GTS Migration Projects to lead and successfully guide the customer.
• Matter of consulting, not technical implementation.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• The customer wants to set up a sandbox system on-prem. Support for setting up and configuring a sandbox system is required.
• Support for the necessary pre- and post-implementation steps in connection with the implementation.
• Support in the development and adaptation of custom coding and simplification

Support/consulting for the specific processes in GTS:

• The consultant should ask questions such as "What should be taken into account for the processes in the future?" and "Are there any dependencies to other processes or modules?" can answer.
• The consultant should act as both a process expert and a supporter in the area of custom code.
• Especially at the beginning of the project, intensive support is required to efficiently implement the necessary preparatory work and process adjustments.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• The consultant should bring broad experience and seniority in the area of SAP GTS as well as in process consulting, in-depth knowledge of the processes in GTS, in particular in preference determination.
• SAP basic knowledge is not required because this is covered by the customer base team and the RISE ECS organization.
• Availability/Start Date/Duration:
• Use asap, at the latest from April 2025 to approx. Dec. 2025.
• Support of at best immediately (at the latest from the end of March/beginning of April) by November/December 2025 with approximately 2 days per week, with intensive support at the start and until the go-live.
