Senior SAP Basis Consultant (In-house) - S4 Greenfield

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Act as the central interface for SAP communication, connecting SAP module owners, IT, business departments, and external partners
• Actively shape and develop the SAP system landscape, with a strong focus on S/4HANA and SAP CAR
• Plan and coordinate technical maintenance activities such as system copies, upgrades, and updates
• Work with SAP Solution Manager (ChaRM) and SAP Cloud ALM and support the ongoing development of both platforms
• Monitor the technical operation of SAP systems, proactively identify issues, and coordinate their resolution
• Contribute to the introduction of innovative solutions in the SAP BTP environment and support the setup of initial use cases
• Implement technical security measures and ensure compliance with relevant standards and policies
• Create and maintain technical documentation covering system landscapes, processes, and changes

WHO YOU ARE

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
• At least five years of experience in SAP administration and maintenance, ideally including SAP Solution Manager and ChaRM
• Strong knowledge of SAP system architecture, operating systems (Windows/Linux), databases, and networks
• Hands-on experience with S/4HANA, SAP CAR, and tools such as Confluence and Jira
• Proven experience implementing SAP security measures and ensuring compliance requirements
• Solid background in planning and executing upgrades, patches, and releases
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style, even in complex system landscapes
• Strong technical understanding with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently
• Clear and structured approach to creating documentation and technical manuals
• Team-oriented mindset with open and professional communication
• Fluent German and good English skills, both written and spoken
