Position description
SAP Basis Administrator
We are offering a secure position within an international organization where you can develop your ideas and strengths in a dynamic work environment. You will be able to contribute your expertise confidently while enjoying a supportive, collaborative, and friendly workplace.
Your Responsibilities:
- Maintain, administrate, and operate the ERP system (currently SAP R/3) and associated peripheral systems.
- Support global system harmonization initiatives, including the migration from R/3 ECC6.0 (on HANA) to S/4 HANA.
- Analyze requirements and implement new, future-proof solutions in alignment with IT strategy and business process needs.
- Configure system settings via customizing and identify opportunities for system migration and harmonization.
- Assist in SAP Basis/Infrastructure projects across all phases, including partial project management responsibilities and participation in worldwide SAP rollouts.
- Coordinate internal SAP projects and manage collaboration with external partners.
- Serve as a reliable point of contact for all SAP Basis/Infrastructure-related queries.
Your Profile:
- Completed vocational training in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in the IT industry.
- Strong knowledge of SAP R/3, particularly in SAP Basis/Infrastructure Administration.
- Experience with SAP S/4 HANA and general IT systems is an advantage.
- Knowledge of archiving and access management processes.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with a structured approach to work.
- Ability to independently implement IT requirements through customizing.
- Process-oriented mindset with a consultant-style approach.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and committed.
- Excellent teamwork, reliability, and communication skills.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%.
