Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience with SAP FI/CO, with strong expertise in:
• Material Ledger (ML)
• CO Product Costing (CO PC)
• Inventory Valuation
• Intercompany processes
• Integration with Procurement, Demand to Pay, Production, EWM, Quality and Plan to Cash processes
• FI integration areas
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA Finance processes and financial data integrity
• Experience with Product Costing, Inventory Risk, Material Ledger Actual Costing and Intercompany Profit in Inventory
• Experience with SAP Service-related costing (instrument installation, maintenance, spare parts) and software-related costing (selling, installation, subscription models)
• Good knowledge of master data structures:
• Material Master
• Cost Center
• Product Costing Data
• Familiarity with SAP SD, MM and PP integration points
• Experience with SAP system validation processes, including documentation and testing (preferably using SAP Solution Manager)
• Experience working in global, multicultural and cross-functional environments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken)
• Experience working with S/4HANA environments and SAFe Agile teams

Project

Joining the P2DP Finance IT team, responsible for delivering and supporting SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions within a global pharmaceutical environment.

The role focuses on ensuring financial data accuracy, compliance, and stability across integrated SAP modules. The consultant will support business processes related to manufacturing finance, supply chain accounting, product costing, inventory valuation, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data across SAP modules and integrated systems
• Support monthly costing runs and Material Ledger closing activities
• Perform reconciliation and troubleshooting of discrepancies between SAP modules
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Provide third-line support for business and IT teams
• Analyze business requirements and design, build, test and implement SAP system changes
• Support improvements of global SAP templates and deployment of new functionalities
• Monitor, test and validate system changes according to SAP IT standards
• Participate in SAP upgrades, validation activities and change management processes
• Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain and IT teams to ensure alignment between business needs and system functionality
• Act as a functional consultant and subject matter expert for SAP Finance processes
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the S/4HANA environment
