Project Overview

Join the development team responsible for the TEMPER BTP application - a core enterprise platform integrating SAP S/4HANA, SAP EWM, MES, SAP IoT, and external providers through a centralized data model and API layer.

The platform enables seamless communication between multiple enterprise systems, supporting business-critical operations in a complex, integration-heavy environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services on SAP BTP using Node.js and the SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming) Framework
• Design, develop, and maintain the TEMPER ToR Data Model and SAP HANA database objects
• Build and maintain API integrations with SAP S/4HANA, SAP EWM, MES, SAP IoT, and external systems
• Collaborate with the integration team using MuleSoft to design, implement, and troubleshoot data flows
• Support the SAP Fiori development team by exposing and maintaining backend services
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
• Participate in backend architecture discussions and technical design
• Perform reverse engineering and analysis of existing solutions where required
• Ensure high code quality through testing, code reviews, and best development practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams within a large, distributed international program

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience developing applications on SAP BTP
• Strong experience with:
• SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming) Framework
• Node.js
• JavaScript
• SAP HANA Database
• Solid understanding of REST API design and enterprise integration patterns
• Experience building scalable backend services
• Experience working in enterprise-scale, integration-heavy environments
