Position description
Conexus are partnered with a global pharmaceutical brand as they continue to expand their SAP capabilities. On that basis, we are searching for a SAP PP/QM Consultant to join them on a permanent basis in Madrid, Spain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, blueprinting, system design, configuration, testing, go-live, and post-implementation support.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on SAP PP/QM best practices and industry standards. Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Analyse business processes and identify areas for improvement. Design and implement SAP PP/QM solutions that align with client objectives and enhance operational efficiency.
- Configure SAP PP/QM modules to meet client requirements, including production planning, demand management, material requirements planning (MRP), and quality inspections. Customise solutions as needed to fit unique client needs.
- Develop and deliver training sessions for end-users and client teams. Create comprehensive documentation to support solution implementation and ongoing maintenance.
- Stay updated on the latest SAP technologies and industry trends. Proactively suggest enhancements and optimisation's to existing client systems.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as an SAP PP/QM Consultant
- Proven experience in leading at least 2 full life cycle SAP PP/QM implementations
- In-depth knowledge of SAP PP (Production Planning) and SAP QM (Quality Management) modules, including configuration, customisation, and integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, FICO).
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse complex business processes and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. SAP certification in PP/QM is highly desirable.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
