SAP FICO R2R Consultant

Critical rollout project.

This initiative involves the adaptation of an SAP solution already implemented in the UK, with a substantial number of localization gaps for the Spanish context. These roles will focus on ensuring seamless data migration, gap analysis, and effective collaboration across all project phases.

SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling) R2R (Record-to-Report) Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience with SAP FICO modules, specifically in the Record-to-Report (R2R) process, and a proven ability to deliver end-to-end solutions in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Design & Implementation:
• Design, configure, and implement SAP FICO solutions, with a focus on R2R processes. Ensure alignment with business objectives and compliance with financial regulations.
• Requirement Gathering:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, identify gaps, and recommend best-practice solutions.
• System Configuration:
• Configure SAP modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Controlling (CO).
• Process Optimization:
• Analyze and optimize R2R processes, including financial reporting, intercompany transactions, consolidation, and period-end closing.
• Integration:
• Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, PP) and third-party systems.
• Testing & Validation:
• Develop and execute test plans (unit testing, integration testing, and UAT). Ensure the quality and reliability of the delivered solution.
• Documentation:
• Create and maintain detailed documentation, including functional specifications, user manuals, and training materials.
• Support & Troubleshooting:
• Provide post-implementation support, troubleshoot issues, and deliver timely solutions to minimize downtime.

Key Requirements

Technical Skills:

• Strong expertise in SAP FICO modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, CO).
• Proven experience in R2R process implementation and optimization.
• Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
• Familiarity with SAP integration tools (e.g., IDOCs, BAPIs).
• Proficiency in debugging and resolving ABAP issues is a plus.

Experience:

• Minimum 5-8 years of experience as an SAP FICO Consultant.
• At least 2 full lifecycle SAP implementations with R2R focus.
• Experience in data migration and cutover planning.
