SAP IBP Consultant / Senior Consultant (German-speaking)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP IBP Consultant or Senior Consultant to join our growing Supply Chain Planning practice. You will work with leading organisations across the DACH region to design, implement, and optimise SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) solutions, helping clients transform their planning capabilities and drive business value.

Depending on experience, you will lead workstreams, manage client stakeholders, and mentor junior team members while delivering successful SAP IBP transformation programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver SAP IBP implementation, optimisation, and transformation projects.
• Conduct client workshops to gather requirements and shape planning processes.
• Design and configure SAP IBP solutions across Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OP, Inventory Optimisation, Response & Supply, and Control Tower.
• Support integration with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, APO, and other enterprise systems.
• Lead or support testing, cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities.
• Develop functional specifications, process documentation, and training materials.
• Advise clients on supply chain planning best practices and process improvements.
• Collaborate with project teams, architects, and business stakeholders.
• Support business development activities, including proposals, demonstrations, and solution presentations.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to practice growth.

Skills & Experience

• 3-8+ years of SAP IBP consulting experience.
• Experience delivering at least one end-to-end SAP IBP implementation.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain planning processes and best practices.
• Hands-on configuration experience within one or more SAP IBP modules.
• Understanding of SAP S/4HANA integration and planning architecture.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working within a consultancy, system integrator, or professional services environment.
• Fluent in German and English, written and spoken.

Desirable

• SAP IBP Certification.
• Experience with SAP APO, PP/DS, Digital Supply Chain, CPI-DS, or SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Workstream leadership or team management experience.
• Pre-sales and business development exposure.
