Job Summary Oil & Gas / Energy Primary Area 15-20 Years SAP Logistics We are seeking an experienced Onsite Solution Architect - SAP Logistics with deep expertise in Oil & Gas industry processes and extensive experience in SAP S/4HANA-based supply chain transformations. The candidate will be responsible for designing and governing end-to-end logistics solutions spanning procurement, inventory management, warehousing, asset-intensive operations, maintenance integration, transportation, and supply chain execution. The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in SAP S/4HANA Logistics, SAP BTP, SAP Clean Core principles, and exposure to SAP Business AI. The role requires strategic consulting capabilities, stakeholder management, opportunity mining, AMS governance, and leadership across large-scale SAP transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Serve as the onsite SAP Logistics Solution Architect and trusted advisor for business and IT stakeholders. • Lead SAP S/4HANA Logistics transformation initiatives across procurement, inventory, warehousing, transportation, maintenance integration, and supply chain management. • Define target-state logistics architecture aligned with SAP best practices and Clean Core principles. • Design integrated business processes across SAP MM, EWM, TM, PM, SD, PP, and Finance. • Drive logistics and supply chain optimization initiatives for Oil & Gas operations. • Lead architecture governance, solution reviews, fit-to-standard workshops, and design approvals. • Act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders, AMS teams, and delivery teams. • Drive opportunity mining and identify process improvements using SAP innovations and industry best practices. • Enable SAP BTP-based extensions, automation, integrations, and workflow solutions. • Evaluate and promote SAP Business AI use cases across procurement, inventory planning, warehouse management, and asset-intensive operations. • Support implementation programs, migration projects, rollouts, upgrades, and AMS transitions. • Collaborate with offshore and global delivery teams to ensure successful execution and operational excellence. • Provide thought leadership on logistics digitization, supply chain resilience, inventory optimization, and warehouse transformation. Industry / Domain Experience Mandatory Oil & Gas Industry Experience The candidate should possess significant experience supporting upstream Exploration & Production, midstream transportation and storage, downstream refining and distribution, LNG operations, petrochemicals, fuel retail networks, oilfield services organizations, and integrated energy companies. Strong understanding of logistics challenges associated with asset-intensive environments, critical spares management, turnaround planning, shutdown management, and large-scale supply networks is highly desirable.
