About the project

We are looking for an experienced SAP LETRA / SD Consultant to join a 6-month freelance project + extension.

The project will focus primarily on SAP Transportation / LETRA within an ECC environment, with a strong emphasis on transport management, carrier integration, route planning and transportation cost settlement.

The role will be predominantly remote, with the possibility of attending the client’s offices in Madrid approximately every two weeks.

Key Responsibilities

The successful consultant will be responsible for supporting and managing processes related to SAP Transportation / LETRA, including:

• Managing transportation processes within SAP ECC.
• Creating and processing shipments.
• Managing carriers and transportation providers.
• Working with EDI / IDoc integrations related to transportation processes.
• Supporting route determination and transportation planning.
• Managing transportation cost calculation and settlement.
• Working with transportation tariffs and cost conditions.
• Supporting the settlement of transportation costs into FI, including service entry sheets and/or invoice verification.
• Supporting the integration of transportation processes with other SAP logistics areas.
• Analysing business requirements and translating them into functional SAP solutions.
• Working with technical teams and preparing functional specifications for ABAP developments, where required.

Required Experience

• Strong experience with SAP LETRA / Transportation Management in SAP ECC.
• Hands-on experience with shipment creation and processing.
• Experience managing carriers / transport providers.
• Experience with EDI / IDoc integrations.
• Experience with route determination and transportation planning.
• Experience with transportation cost calculation, tariffs and settlement.
• Understanding of the integration between transportation processes and FI.
• Fluent Spanish.
• Availability to start ASAP.
