SAP Forecasting & Replenishment (F&R) Functional Consultant

We are seeking an experienced freelance SAP Forecasting & Replenishment (F&R) Functional Consultant for a 12-month assignment with a client in the South Netherlands.
You will support the delivery and optimisation of SAP forecasting and replenishment capabilities in a retail/supply-chain environment. This is a hands-on functional role, working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams and integration partners.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements for demand forecasting, replenishment and inventory management.
• Configure, enhance and support SAP F&R processes, including forecasting, replenishment parameters, exception management and monitoring.
• Work with business users to troubleshoot issues and improve planning and replenishment outcomes.
• Support integration between SAP F&R and relevant SAP/non-SAP systems, including master data, POS, ERP/S/4HANA and supply-chain applications.
• Prepare functional specifications and support testing, UAT, cutover and deployment activities.
• Provide knowledge transfer, documentation and post-go-live support.
• Communicate progress, risks and dependencies clearly to project and business stakeholders.
  
  

Required experience

• Strong hands-on SAP Forecasting & Replenishment (SAP F&R) functional consulting experience.
• Experience delivering SAP F&R implementation, rollout, enhancement or support projects.
• Good understanding of retail or consumer-goods supply-chain processes, including demand forecasting, store/DC replenishment, inventory and service levels.
• Experience with SAP Retail, SAP CAR/UDF, S/4HANA Retail or related SAP supply-chain solutions is highly desirable.
• Experience working with interfaces, master data and downstream/upstream systems.
• Able to work independently, engage confidently with stakeholders and translate business needs into practical SAP solutions.
• Fluent English communication skills, written and spoken.

• 12-month freelance contract.
