Enterprise/Solution Architect – SAP S/4HANA (m/f/d)

The company

Our client is a globally established industrial technology group delivering highly engineered, mission-critical solutions across demanding civilian and public-sector markets.

As part of a major international SAP S/4HANA transformation, the company is looking for an experienced Enterprise/Solution Architect to define and govern its future SAP architecture.

Your responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the technical architecture of the SAP S/4HANA landscape.
• Translate business requirements, enterprise architecture principles and technical standards into a scalable, future-ready target architecture.
• Develop and manage the architectural roadmap for the future SAP system landscape.
• Define and enforce architectural standards, governance frameworks and best practices.
• Conduct architecture and solution-design reviews across transformation projects.
• Align the SAP architecture with the organisation’s cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity and integration strategies.
• Design the integration of SAP solutions with third-party applications and enterprise platforms.
• Act as a trusted architectural advisor to business stakeholders, technical teams and senior management.
• Support critical decisions throughout the SAP transformation and implementation lifecycle.

Your profile

• At least eight years of experience in SAP architecture, enterprise architecture or senior solution architecture roles.
• Proven involvement in multiple SAP S/4HANA implementation or transformation programmes.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP Fiori and SAP Integration Suite.
• Experience designing complex SAP system and integration landscapes.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform: Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of architecture governance, security and integration principles.
• SAP Solution Architecture certification or a comparable qualification would be advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder-management, advisory and communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex architectural topics clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Independent, structured and quality-focused working style.
• Enjoyment of working across interdisciplinary and international teams.
• Fluent German and English.
