Masentó are looking for an experienced SAP MM Procurement Consultant to join a major retail transformation programme on a freelance basis.

The successful candidate will have strong SAP MM / Procurement experience and, importantly, a proven track record of working with retail clients and understanding the specific procurement and supply-chain processes within the retail environment.

This is a project-focused role, working closely with business and SAP teams to deliver solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver SAP MM / Procurement solutions across a retail transformation programme.
• Analyse and improve end-to-end procurement processes.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Support purchasing, supplier management, goods movements and related MM processes.
• Contribute to solution design, configuration, testing and deployment.
• Work closely with other SAP and supply-chain workstreams to ensure effective integration.
• Identify and resolve process and system issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support project documentation, testing and go-live activities.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP MM / Procurement.
• Proven experience delivering SAP projects or transformations.
• Previous experience working with retail clients is essential.
• SAP S/4HANA experience.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end procurement processes.
• Experience with purchasing, suppliers, inventory and goods movements.
• Ability to work effectively with both business stakeholders and technical SAP teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English.
• Comfortable working independently within a fully remote project environment.

• Experience across wider retail supply-chain processes.
• Experience integrating SAP with warehouse, supplier or store systems.
• Experience working on large-scale SAP transformation programmes.
