SAP FI Consultant

At Hays, we are partnering with one of the world's leading automotive component manufacturers to recruit an experienced SAP FI Consultant.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a global organization undergoing a major SAP S/4HANA transformation. As part of an international team, you will play a key role in coordinating SAP Finance initiatives, supporting business stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of rollout and migration activities.

What will your responsibilities be?

• Participate in and coordinate SAP S/4HANA rollout and transformation projects across multiple locations.
• Act as the main point of contact between business stakeholders, production plants, and technical teams.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective functional SAP solutions.
• Support and optimize finance and sales-related business processes, ensuring alignment with operational needs.
• Identify improvement opportunities, define new requirements, and coordinate enhancement requests.
• Monitor, investigate, and resolve functional issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Coordinate and follow up on activities performed by remote technical and support teams.
• Manage project timelines, priorities, risks, and stakeholder communications to ensure successful delivery.

What are we looking for?

• 3+ years of experience working with SAP FI, ideally within complex international environments.
• Functional experience with SAP FICO.
• Proven experience in SAP rollout, migration, implementation, or upgrade projects.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Knowledge of French and/or Catalan will be considered a plus.
• Experience working with SAP in the automotive or industrial sector is highly desirable.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience collaborating with remote and international support teams.
• Ability to manage stakeholder relationships and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Proactive mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement and business support.

Project Information

• Strategic migration from a legacy ERP to SAP S/4HANA.
• Role focused on functional coordination, migration support, and incident management.
• Collaboration with and coordination of a technical team based in India.
• Involvement in business process definition and optimization, with particular focus on finance and sales flows.
• No hands-on technical development is required; the position is primarily functional and business-oriented.
