We are looking for an SAP Platform Architect with deep expertise in BW and BW/4HANA to lead and shape complex SAP analytics platform transformations. This role is suited for a senior architect who has hands-on delivery experience with BW on‑premise to BW/4HANA migrations and who can take architectural ownership across migration, optimization, and future‑state design.
You will act as a key technical authority, bridging SAP, system integrators, and internal stakeholders while defining a stable, scalable, and future‑proof BW platform aligned with SAP's cloud and RISE strategy.

Key responsibilities:
BW/4HANA migration

• Lead end‑to‑end BW to BW/4HANA migrations with delivery accountability,
• Select and govern the migration approach (Shell, Remote, or In‑Place) based on landscape fit,
• Work closely with SAP and certified SAP partners during migration execution,
• Use BW/4HANA Cockpit and Migration Workbench to ensure technical readiness.

Platform & architecture

• Define and own the BW/4HANA target architecture,
• Decide which legacy BW objects can be migrated versus redesigned,
• Apply SAP HANA performance and optimization best practices,
• Establish data architecture standards (layering, naming, ownership, quality),
• Design for cloud considerations including network, latency, and data residency.

Reporting & analytics

• Drive the transition from BEx-based reporting to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC),
• Ensure BW models support current and future analytical consumption needs.

SAP vendor & landscape management

• Act as senior counterpart to SAP Support, CoE, and implementation partners,
• Navigate and explain RISE with SAP, BTP, and managed cloud models from a technical and commercial. perspective

Required experience:

• Proven delivery of at least one full BW on‑prem to BW/4HANA migration,
• Strong expertise in BW/4HANA data modeling (aDSO, CompositeProvider, Open ODS Views),
• Solid understanding of BW/4HANA migration tooling and concepts,
• Direct experience working with SAP or SAP‑certified partners.
