Position description
SEARGIN IS HIRING!
We are looking for an experienced SAP MM Consultant to support the design, implementation, and optimization of inventory and logistics processes within global SAP environments. This role focuses on inventory protection, stock access management, storage location segregation, global batch traceability, and master data governance.
You will play a key role in end-to-end SAP delivery, from system design and configuration to testing and documentation, working closely with cross-functional teams in complex, international projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement SAP MM solutions aligned with business requirements and best practices
- Configure and enhance SAP modules (MM, IM, P2P, LE) in SAP ERP or S/4HANA environments
- Ensure proper setup of inventory protection, stock access controls, and storage location segregation
- Support global batch traceability processes and master data governance
- Prepare and execute test scripts, including SIT and UAT support
- Develop and maintain technical and functional documentation
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SAP solutions
- Ensure integration with external systems such as 3PL providers and WMS (via EDI, IDocs, APIs)
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (FI, CO, SD, LE) to ensure seamless end-to-end processes
Must-Have Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience in SAP MM, IM, P2P, and LE consulting
- Minimum 5 years in a senior or lead role within SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA implementation projects
- Strong understanding of integration points between SAP MM, P2P, and other modules (FI, CO, SD, LE)
- Proven experience working with 3PL providers and external WMS integrations
- Deep knowledge of logistics processes, including:
- Inventory Management
- Source-to-Contract and Purchase-to-Pay
- Logistics Execution (shipping, warehouse interfaces)
- Hands-on experience with EDI, IDocs, and API integrations
- Ability to translate business requirements into SAP solutions and prepare functional specifications
- Experience working in multicultural, international environments
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- Willingness to travel
