What will you do?

• In your area of responsibility, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration and administration of SAP systems (including operating system and database level HANA) on our Google Cloud Platform.
• You will work in ongoing technical operations, including error handling, performance optimization and support. In doing so, you will analyze and design the system architecture or evaluate technological innovations for our IT operations.
• You will also be responsible for performing system and client copies as well as updates / upgrades to our technology stack.
• Help automate operational monitoring by setting up alerts and managing release cycles in ALM tools.
• You will also be actively involved in SAP projects and work on the further development of our SAP system landscape.
• You will join to a cross-functional team together with our colleagues in Spain and Germany!

What´s your story

• You already have in-depth experience in the administration of SAP systems and HANA databases.
• You are convinced that you can operate large SAP installations on modern cloud resources in an agile manner.
• You want to automate recurring activities with the team.
• You are a fan of GNU/Linux and the SAP Solution Manager.
• An agile mindset is a fundamental requirement: openness to change, collaboration, and continuous learning are at the core of how we work.
• Strong team spirit, communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are highly valued.
• Good English skills, written and spoken.

Nice to have:

• Experience with container platforms and automation tools, as well as the DevOps way of working, is an advantage.
• Experience with Ansible or other automation tools.
• With SAP Focused Run, you have already monitored complex system landscapes.
• Ideally, you have consulting and development experience in Google Cloud Platform.
• A confident handling of agile methods, such as Kanban or Scrum, rounds off your profile.
• German language skills welcome.
