SAP BTP Consultant

On behalf of our global client, we’re currently looking for a SAP BTP Consultant

Role: SAP BTP Consultant

Location: Remote

Start: ASAP

End: 6+ months contract

Capacity: 8h/day, 5 days/week

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of integrations in SAP BTP – Integration Suite, including Cloud Integration, API Management, and Event Mesh.
• Guide and coordinate integration developers and consultants, prioritizing tasks and resolving technical blockers.
• Collaborate closely with SAP functional teams (S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, etc.) and external applications (Salesforce, Workday, legacy systems, etc.).
• Ensure solution quality through design reviews, integration testing (SIT, UAT), and cutover management.
• Establish best practices, development standards, and technical documentation for integration projects.
• Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on all integration topics.
• Manage capacity and prioritization of integration initiatives, reporting risks and progress to leadership.
• Stay up to date with new features and roadmaps of SAP BTP to propose improvements and optimizations.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience in application integration, with at least 4 years in SAP Cloud Platform Integration / SAP BTP Integration Suite.
• Proven track record in large-scale global projects integrating SAP S/4HANA, ECC, Salesforce, SuccessFactors, Workday, Ariba, or other cloud/on-premise systems.

Deep knowledge of:

• iFlows, mappings (graphical/XSLT), adapters (IDoc, SOAP, REST, OData, Salesforce, SFTP, etc.)
• API Management (design, security, governance).
• Event Mesh / event-driven architectures.
