Location: Barcelona, Spain, willing to travel to other European sites

Contract Type: Freelance / Contract

Rate: €400 - €450 per day, expenses covered

Overview:

We're looking for an experienced SAP MM / P2P Functional Consultant to support the design, configuration, and delivery of Procure-to-Pay solutions for a major international FMCG client. This is a hands-on functional role suited to someone who's confident working in global environments, has a deep understanding of SAP P2P/IVC flows, and can work independently across business and IT stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyse and document current SAP P2P processes

- Identify and implement improvements or automation opportunities

- Configure and test SAP MM/P2P solutions (including consignment, third-party procurement, contracts)

- Work closely with development teams for enhancements and integration

- Support S/4HANA implementation activities (greenfield or brownfield)

- Ensure smooth knowledge transfer to users and support teams

- Collaborate with global virtual teams and ensure process alignment

Core Skills & Experience Required:

- 7+ years working in SAP MM / P2P functional roles

- Strong experience with SAP P2P and Invoice Verification flows

- Solid understanding of SAP-related IT systems including workflows and middleware

- Experience working on global SAP rollouts or implementations

- Hands-on experience with S/4HANA and FIORI apps

- Comfortable working in fast-paced international FMCG environments

- Fluent in English (French is a plus)
