Join a leading pharmaceutical company as an SAP Basis Specialist, the selected candidate will join the Global IT Operations Team and will manage the entire lifecycle of complex SAP system environments. The role involves interacting with business demand teams to define needs and translating those needs into effective architectural solutions. This includes contributing to the design, upgrade, and support of all components in modern and complex SAP landscapes. Specific responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the reliable and efficient operation of SAP systems in a secure environment.
• Work as part of a team, maintaining daily communication with SAP teams and external vendors to monitor work progress and manage open SAP and middleware tickets.
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation for complex systems.
• Ensure efficient troubleshooting of issues, including collaboration with third-party vendors for problem resolution.
• Verify that contracted service levels with external providers are met and initiate corrective actions as part of continuous service improvement efforts.
• Plan maintenance activities and monitor systems to ensure their optimal performance.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience: At least 3 years of experience with SAP environments, including expertise in modern SAP systems such as SAP Basis, SAP HANA, SAP Solution Manager, and cloud-based SAP solutions.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong familiarity with monitoring tools and complex backup/disaster recovery scenarios, ideally within enterprise environments.
• Additional Skills: Good knowledge of complementary technologies, such as Linux, Windows, VMWare, AIX, and IBM Power Systems.
• Personal Attributes: Reliable, flexible, team-oriented, with good English language proficiency.
