SAP MM P2P Senior Consultant

SAP MM P2P Senior Consultant 

Critical rollout project.

This initiative involves the adaptation of an SAP solution already implemented in the UK, with a substantial number of localization gaps for the Spanish context. These roles will focus on ensuring seamless data migration, gap analysis, and effective collaboration across all project phases.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with SAP MM (Materials Management) and expertise in the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to understand their procurement requirements, designing and implementing SAP MM solutions, and ensuring the seamless integration of P2P processes into the overall SAP landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements related to procurement and inventory processes.
• Design, configure, and implement SAP MM modules, specifically in the P2P process area, to meet business needs.
• Ensure integration of P2P processes with other SAP modules such as FI/CO, SD, and PP.
• Create functional and technical specifications for custom developments.
• Conduct system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-implementation support.
• Develop and deliver training for end-users and provide ongoing support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the SAP MM P2P process in a timely manner.
• Participate in project planning, scoping, and deliverable definition for SAP-related projects.
• Provide recommendations on best practices and process improvements in the P2P domain.

Skills and Qualifications:

Mandatory:

• Proven experience with SAP MM module configuration and implementation.
• Deep knowledge of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, including purchase requisition, purchase order, goods receipt, invoice verification, and vendor management.
• Strong understanding of integration points with SAP FI/CO, SD, and PP modules.
• Proficiency in SAP customizing, including item categories, account assignment, valuation, pricing, and release strategies.
• Experience in designing and delivering end-user training and documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering results.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred:

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Familiarity with e-procurement solutions such as Ariba or Coupa.
• SAP certification in MM or related areas.
• Knowledge of industry-specific solutions (e.g., IS-Oil, Retail, Manufacturing).
• Previous experience in Agile or hybrid project environments.
