Position description
Recruit 121 is currently looking for a SAP HCM Technical Project Manager to start on a new project.
Location: Madrid (Preferred, with 2–3 days per week on-site)
Role Summary
As a Technical SAP Project Manager, you’ll lead the migration of our client's existing SAP HCM and related systems to a new platform. This pivotal role requires a blend of technical SAP expertise, particularly in HCM, and outstanding project management skills to ensure the successful delivery of the project.
Key Responsibilities
System Analysis
- Analyse existing SAP systems and interfaces.
- Identify and evaluate current interfaces, their functions, and data flows.
Transition Management
- Oversee the seamless migration of legacy systems to the new SAP platform.
- Ensure smooth integration and the decommissioning of outdated systems.
Project Coordination
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams to align on deliverables and timelines.
- Lead and coordinate activities to achieve the target go-live date (January next year).
Technical Oversight
- Review and manage system-level technical details, including interface configurations and data flows.
- Work with technical teams to troubleshoot and optimize integration processes.
What We’re Looking For
Technical Expertise
- Extensive experience with SAP HCM and related integrated systems.
- Hands-on skills in analysing system configurations, interfaces, and code.
Project Management Skills
- Proven experience managing SAP system transitions or similar projects.
- Strong organizational capabilities to drive cross-functional team efforts and meet deadlines.
Technical Proficiency
- Deep understanding of SAP system architecture, interface management, and data integration, spanning both legacy and new environments.
