Conexus are partnered with a global big 4 consulting firm that are leading the charge in S/4HANA transformations across the Benelux region. On that basis, we are searching for SAP GTS professionals to join them on a permanent basis in Belgium.

As an SAP GTS Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing SAP GTS solutions that meet the global trade and compliance requirements of clients. This role requires in-depth knowledge of SAP GTS modules, including customs management, compliance management, and risk management. You will work closely with clients to deliver tailored solutions, ensuring that their trade processes align with international regulations and operate efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead full lifecycle implementations of SAP GTS projects, including requirements gathering, blueprinting, system configuration, testing, go-live, and post-implementation support.
• Design and implement SAP GTS solutions for customs management, compliance management, and trade risk management to optimize global trade operations.
• Integrate SAP GTS with other SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI/CO) and third-party systems to ensure smooth operation and data flow across trade functions.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their global trade challenges and provide expert advice on SAP GTS best practices and configuration.
• Ensure clients adhere to global trade regulations, customs laws, and export control requirements by configuring the appropriate compliance controls within SAP GTS.
• Deliver user training and create comprehensive documentation to support SAP GTS implementations and ensure proper system usage.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in SAP GTS and global trade regulations to recommend enhancements and future-proof client systems.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with SAP GTS modules, including customs management, compliance management, and risk management.
• Proven experience working in a consultancy environment, delivering multiple successful SAP GTS implementations.
• Experience in managing at least 2 full life cycle SAP GTS projects, from blueprint to go-live.
• Strong understanding of SAP integration with modules such as SD, MM, FI/CO, and knowledge of third-party system integrations.
• In-depth understanding of global trade regulations, export controls, and customs laws.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess client needs and design appropriate SAP GTS solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage clients and provide expert advice.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. SAP GTS certification is highly desirable.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
